How we keep our Shelton salon clean and safe, and what we ask from every guest before and during their visit.
Keeping the salon safe
Bella Vida opened in 2021, right in the middle of the pandemic, so health and safety have been part of how we work from day one. A lot of the rules out there have relaxed since then, but the habits we built around keeping the room clean and protecting each other have stayed.
Waxing is a close contact service, so we ask every guest to help us keep the salon a safe place for everyone who comes through the door, including other clients who may be more vulnerable.
Please reschedule if you
- Have a fever, cough or sore throat
- Have lost your sense of taste or smell
- Have recently tested positive for COVID-19
- Have been in close contact with someone who is sick

What we do
Clean room every time
Surfaces, the wax bed and tools are cleaned and disinfected between every single guest.
Fresh supplies
Clean linens and paper for each client, and single use applicators so wax is never shared between guests.
Space between visits
Appointments are spaced out so clients don't overlap and the room can be properly reset.
What we ask from you
- Come at your appointment time and wait outside or in your car if you're early.
- Please come alone unless you need someone with you for support.
- Wash or sanitize your hands when you arrive.
- Feel free to wear a mask. If you'd like Amanda to wear one during your service, just ask.
